Vodafone takes the second place with nearly 25% of market share, followed by Turk Telecom subsidiary, Avea, which accounts for almost 20% of subscriber base. Turkcell shows a steady tendency to enhance its business, with average revenue per user being the highest among its competitors. However, Vodafone is rather strong to take a part of subscribers over from Turkcell in the following years. Broadband Internet sector is dominated by Turk Telekom, which owns the major share of network capabilities, and benefits from ever growing Internet population. Even though network coverage in the region is lower than average, strong demand provides steady development of e-services in the country.
